Under the joint initiative of Road Safety Line and the Road Safety Cell under the Transport Commissioner, Rajasthan, the 84th Free Eye Check-up & Spectacle Distribution Camp was successfully organised near Shri Balaji Motors, Shahpura, for state highway truck drivers.
With the active support of the Flying Squad of the Regional Transport Office–II, truck drivers were brought to the camp for eye examination. The technical team conducted detailed eye tests and immediately provided free spectacles to drivers diagnosed with weak vision.
A total of 155 drivers were examined during the camp, out of which 95 drivers received free spectacles on the spot.
The camp was inspected by Shri. Upendra Yadav, M.L.A. Shahpura, and Shri. Mukesh Chaudhary, Deputy Superintendent of Police, who personally distributed spectacles to the drivers and appreciated the commendable work being carried out by Road Safety Line in the interest of road safety.
Shri. Pratap Kumar Bhatia, Secretary, Road Safety Line, stated that due to the recent rise in serious road accidents around Jaipur, the State Government has also emphasised the need for regular eye check-ups and free spectacle distribution camps. He further informed that the next camp will be organised in Shivdaspura in the third week of January 2026.
The camp was generously sponsored by Shri. Balaji Motors, whose support was acknowledged with sincere appreciation. The Flying Squad was led by Inspector Shri. Babulal Meena, with active assistance from Shri. Mukesh Saini, whose cooperation contributed significantly to the success of the camp.
