Under the joint initiative of Road Safety Line and the Road Safety Cell, Transport & Road Safety Department, Jaipur, the 82nd Free Eye Check-up and Spectacle Distribution Camp was successfully organised at Rajesh Motors, Ramchandrapura, Ajmer Road on 15-Oct-2025.
Truck operators from nearby areas sent their drivers for free eye testing conducted by the department’s technical team. A total of 104 drivers were examined, and 77 were provided with free spectacles on the spot to correct visual deficiencies.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pratap Bhatia, Secretary, Road Safety Line, shared that according to a report by the Indian Road Congress, around 55% of drivers on national highways suffer from weak eyesight. To address this issue and promote safer driving, the organization conducts such camps every month across various highways — helping drivers see clearly and drive safely.
