On 25th July 2025, Road Safety Line organised an impactful Road Safety Awareness Program at the Regional College of Pharmacy, Sitapura, Jaipur, graciously hosted by Dr. Alok. The event witnessed the participation of around 250 enthusiastic students and faculty members.

The session began with Shri. Pratap Kumar Bhatia, Secretary of Road Safety Line, introduced the theme of road safety and the objectives of the program.

Dr. L. N. Pandey, Nodal Officer, Road Safety Cell, Transport Commissioner’s Office, Jaipur, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He spoke about various government initiatives for road safety, including the ₹10,000 incentive scheme for Good Samaritans who assist accident victims. Dr. Pandey also encouraged the college management to create student groups for CPR training and even consider setting up a permanent CPR training centre within the campus.

A live CPR training session was then conducted by Mr. Rajkumar Rajpal, who demonstrated the procedure using a mannequin. His simple, practical guidance ensured that students could easily grasp this life-saving technique.

Dr. Prem Surana, Chairman of the institution, expressed his appreciation for Road Safety Line’s efforts, highlighting the importance of such awareness initiatives. He assured that groups of students would be sent for advanced CPR training and emphasised the need to replicate similar programs across all institutes under their umbrella.

The session concluded with a Road Safety Oath, administered by Shri. Satish Chandra Derashri (Retd. IAS), followed by a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and participants for making the program a success.

This program served as a strong reminder to the students about their responsibility towards safe driving practices and saving lives through timely help.
