The 78th Eye Check-up and Free Spectacle Distribution Camp was successfully organised on 21st May 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at M/s Rajesh Motors, Ramchandrapura, Ajmer Road, Jaipur. The event was held under the collaboration of the Road Safety Line and the State Road Safety Cell, Transport Department, Rajasthan, in loving memory of Mrs. Lata Das, generously supported by her family.
Mr. Pratap Bhatia, Secretary of Road Safety Line, shared that a dedicated team from RTO Jaipur (First) played a crucial role in encouraging highway truck drivers to undergo eye check-ups. During the camp, 91 commercial vehicle drivers received professional eye examinations, and 72 of them were provided with free spectacles to improve their vision and ensure safer driving.
Mr. Bhatia further highlighted that since the inception of this initiative, the organization has distributed over 8,200 free spectacles to drivers and transport workers through 78 eye check-up camps held across various locations.
The success of the camp was greatly supported by the active participation of several esteemed volunteers from Road Safety Line, including:
